The MOH and NEA said in a joint statement that 11 new Zika cases were discovered on Sunday as at noon, bringing the total number of cases to 329.

Of these, 8 victims were expectant mothers. The statement added that “Their doctors are following up closely with them to provide support and counselling.”

Of the 11 new cases discovered on Sunday, 1 is linked to the Elite Terrace cluster while the other 10 have no known links to any existing cluster.

From Monday (12 Sep) onwards, the two agencies will be providing daily updates via NEA’s website.
