Actor and former wrestler Dwayne The Rock Johnson shut down an entire restaurant recently so that he and his newlywed wife Lauren Hashian could enjoy some quiet time.

The actor uploaded on Instagram a photo of him and his wife having a meal at the Hanalei Northside Grill restaurant.

He said it has ‘been decades’ since he ate in a restaurant ‘undisturbed’.

“Been decades since I was able to sit in the middle of a restaurant undisturbed, eat, have drinks, watch TV’s above the bar and just relax and enjoy company,” he revealed.

“Hell, I was even able to look down on the roads below and people watch as they walked through town, in a non creepy, but sort of creepy way of course.”

He later gave a shout to the restaurant staff ‘for quietly shutting down their spot’ so he and his wife could make the most of their honeymoon.

And Dwayne seems incredibly grateful for the gesture, as he later admitted that he would ‘never complain about fame’, but it is also ‘really nice’ to have this moment now and again.

‘I’ll never complain about fame, because the alternative is going back to those $7bucks days, but every once in a blue moon it’s really nice [to] steal a moment in public like this.’

Dwayne’s celebrity pals were also feeling the love in the comments.

YouTuber Lilly Singh said: ‘I love this for you!’

While actress Jasmyn Arch exclaimed: ‘REAL TEARS FOR YOU TOO. SO HAPPPPPPY,’ as she added a trail of heart emojis.

Dwayne married Lauren after 12 years together in a surprise ceremony in Hawaii.

Sharing a series of photos from the big day to his Instagram, he wrote: ‘We do. August 18 2019. Hawaii. Pomaika’i (blessed).’

This is Dwayne’s second marriage after his divorce with Dany Garcia whom he married in 1997.
